The CLEAR-PC project is organised around eight distinct and closely related work packages (WP): three cross-cutting WP (1-3) supporting project management, ethical advice and dissemination, and five core WP (4-8) representing the scientific core of the project to achieve the goal of improving health literacy in prostate cancer.

- WP1: Set up an effective coordination and management framework for the CLEAR-PC consortium to ensure progress towards the planned objectives of the project.
- WP2: Develop a comprehensive legal, ethical, social and privacy (LESoP) framework, ensuring that the project complies with all relevant regulations and addresses social impacts, ethical concerns and privacy issues.
- WP3: Ensure effective communication, dissemination and exploitation of project results, policymaker and stakeholder engagement, and best practice and knowledge exchange.
- WP4: Map levels of (digital) health literacy ((d)HL) among stakeholders involved in prostate cancer early diagnosis/screening, treatment decision-making and palliative care, identifying key knowledge gaps and barriers.
- WP5: Assess existing (d)HL strategies, tools and information (related and non-related to prostate cancer).
- WP6: Evaluate (d)HL educational strategies included in both European medical school curricula and healthcare professionals’ educational tools (related and non-related to prostate cancer).
- WP7: Design and develop a CLEAR-PC strategy aimed at improving health literacy on prostate cancer and supporting shared decision-making.
- WP8: Assess the effectiveness of the developed CLEAR-PC strategy in real-world healthcare settings by conducting pilot studies across different stages of prostate cancer care.
